Angkor Secret Trails by Electric Mountain Bike
Quiet jungle trails behind Angkor Wat, on an electric mountain bike.
Not a temple tour — a discovery day with temples in it. Hours on forgotten paths inside the park, the kind with rice fields, water buffalo, and a moat to yourself. The smaller temples in Angkor Thom — Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Preah Palilay — without the queue. A monk's blessing if you want one, water or classic. Lunch deep in the forest. Preah Khan in the afternoon. The Angkor most visitors never see.

Why ride the secret trails
Paths the buses cannot reach
Single-lane jungle tracks behind Angkor Wat. Past the East Moat, through Ta Kav Gate, along the Angkor Thom Wall by Baphuon and Preah Palilay.
You pick your start, 7 to 9 AM. The ride lasts about 7 hours, so you're back by mid-to-late afternoon.
Giant electric mountain bikes, padel-assisted. European-standard helmet provided for every guest, sized to fit.
Forest lunch, sit-down. A Khmer meal between Angkor Thom and Preah Khan.

This is your private tour. Your guide reads your pace and adapts as the day unfolds, longer at the temples that move you, a quieter walk through one, or a swap to another on the same circuit when it feels right. The day shapes itself around you.
The magic moment
Purified under the forest canopy
A moment almost no traveller on holiday has.
Under a forest temple's moss-covered stones, a monk pours blessed water over your hands and hair, a chant in Khmer that washes away what you've carried and resets the day.
Included with every tour. Choose the full blessing pictured bellow or the classic version.

Visited Angkor for the first time on electric mountain bikes! Went to hidden spots and saw amazing temples you wouldn’t find by van, car or tuktuk. A bike tour through the jungle to witness the least popular but incredibly unique temples, with several stops to enjoy coconut and spot some wild animals along the way, what more can you ask for? Highly recommend!

All kinds of tours on offer! Hidden trails, away from busy crowds, tailored experiences. We visited Angkor Wat with our family of 4 with their electric mountain bikes and a guide who brought us to some very special spots and breathtaking views. Book a bike tour with Adventures Cambodia!

When most people think about visiting Angkor, they imagine crowds and busy temple entrances. But experiencing Angkor on a bike completely changes the story. An Angkor bike tour takes you beyond the main roads and into quiet jungle trails, hidden paths, and peaceful corners that many visitors never get to see — creating a far more personal and authentic connection with this incredible destination. PLENTY OF Instagrammable picture perfect spots For those who prefer comfort without losing the spirit of adventure, an Angkor e-bike tour is the perfect balance. Effortless riding, premium experience, and the freedom to explore deeper into the temples make it ideal for travelers who want something truly special rather than a standard tour. What truly makes the difference, however, is the people behind the experience. With Akim guiding the journey, every detail was seamless — from timing and route selection to local insights and storytelling. The entire day felt exclusive, well-curated, and genuinely memorable. If you’re looking for more than just sightseeing — and want to experience Angkor in a unique, immersive, and comfortable way — this is absolutely the way to do it.

No special fitness needed. The bikes are electric, so the motor does the climbing for you. If you can ride a regular bicycle, you can ride these. The pace is set by you, not by us, and your guide reads your group and adapts the day around it.
How hard are the trails? Are they technical?
The route is forest tracks and hard-packed paths, not technical mountain biking. No steep climbs, no rocky descents. Your guide rides in front to show the line and keep the pace comfortable. If a section feels harder than you expected, we slow down or take an easier line.
What time does the tour start?
You pick any start time between 7 and 9 AM.
How many people will be on the tour?
This is a private tour, so it's just your group. Single-guide capacity is about 6 riders. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional guides, message us to confirm.
Can kids join?
Children need to be at least 110 cm tall to ride their own e-bike. Because this is a full day on forest tracks, it isn't the right tour for very young children.
What if it rains?
The tour runs in the rain. Siem Reap rain usually comes in short afternoon bursts, the forest canopy covers most of the route, and we carry ponchos.
Is the Angkor Pass included?
No. The pass is $37 for one day, bought separately. We recommend buying online at angkorenterprise.gov.kh rather than at the gate.
What languages can the guide speak?
English is the default. French, Spanish, Italian, and German are available on request, with a surcharge.
What's the cancellation policy?
14+ days before: full refund
Less than 14 days before: 50% refund
Less than 5 days before, or no-show: no refund

I grew up inside the walls of Angkor Wat, in the pagoda where my grandfather, Loung Sake, served as Grand Abbot. The pagoda still stands today, just inside the enclosure.
Girls weren't allowed to sleep in the monastery, so I shaved my head and dressed as a boy to stay close to him. He taught me Sanskrit on palm leaves.
Adventures Cambodia started in 2013. Every tour is private and led by a local.
