2-Day Angkor Small + Grand Circuit by Electric Bike
Both classic circuits, the way the buses cannot do them.
Two private days on a Giant e-bike, riding both of Angkor's great circuits with a local Cambodian guide. Day one covers the small circuit and the temples everyone comes for. Day two is the quieter one: out on the grand circuit to Preah Khan and the healing pools of Neak Pean, mostly on forest trail. You do the pedalling. The assist takes the climbs and the heat, so you spend the days looking up at the carving instead of grinding up the hills.

Why book the two-day combo
Both circuits, the unhurried way
Both circuits in one trip. Day one is the small circuit: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm. Day two rides the grand circuit, out to Preah Khan and Neak Pean, quieter and deeper in the forest.
Two unhurried days, not one rushed one. You pick your start between 7 and 9 AM each morning. Beat the noon heat, home by mid-afternoon both days.
Giant e-bikes both days. You ride, the assist takes the hills. No cycling gear needed. European-standard helmet provided.
Sit-down Khmer lunch both days. In the shade on day one, deep in the forest on day two.

The magic moment · Day 1
On top of Angkor Thom's wall, out the Gate of the Dead
A stretch almost no other traveller does.
Angkor Thom's wall is a 12th-century rampart that rings the old royal city. You ride along the top of it on a forest trail. You exit through Khmoth Gate, the Gate of the Dead, a remote stone arch with no proper road in. Coach tours cannot reach it, so almost no one does.
Cool air, no other people, just the sound of your tires on the path. The kind of stretch you remember years later. Day two has its own: the back way into Preah Khan, in through the forest instead of the bus gate.

Visited Angkor for the first time on electric mountain bikes! Went to hidden spots and saw amazing temples you wouldn’t find by van, car or tuktuk. A bike tour through the jungle to witness the least popular but incredibly unique temples, with several stops to enjoy coconut and spot some wild animals along the way, what more can you ask for? Highly recommend!

When most people think about visiting Angkor, they imagine crowds and busy temple entrances. But experiencing Angkor on a bike completely changes the story. An Angkor bike tour takes you beyond the main roads and into quiet jungle trails, hidden paths, and peaceful corners that many visitors never get to see — creating a far more personal and authentic connection with this incredible destination. PLENTY OF Instagrammable picture perfect spots For those who prefer comfort without losing the spirit of adventure, an Angkor e-bike tour is the perfect balance. Effortless riding, premium experience, and the freedom to explore deeper into the temples make it ideal for travelers who want something truly special rather than a standard tour. What truly makes the difference, however, is the people behind the experience. With Akim guiding the journey, every detail was seamless — from timing and route selection to local insights and storytelling. The entire day felt exclusive, well-curated, and genuinely memorable. If you’re looking for more than just sightseeing — and want to experience Angkor in a unique, immersive, and comfortable way — this is absolutely the way to do it.

No special fitness needed. The bikes are electric, so the pedal-assist handles the climbs for you on both days. If you can ride a regular bicycle, you can ride these. The pace is set by you, not by us, and your guide reads your group and adapts each day around it.
How hard are the trails? Are they technical?
Both days are forest tracks and hard-packed paths, not technical mountain biking. No steep climbs, no rocky descents. Your guide rides in front to show the line and keep the pace comfortable. If a section feels harder than you expected, we slow down or take an easier line.
Which Angkor Pass do I need for the two days?
The 3-day pass ($62) covers both riding days. There is no 2-day pass, and the 3-day pass is valid for any 3 days within a 10-day window, so it covers both riding days whether you ride them back-to-back or a few days apart. We recommend buying online at angkorenterprise.gov.kh rather than at the gate. The pass is not included in the tour price.
Do the two days run back-to-back, or can I space them out?
Either works. Most guests ride the two days back-to-back, but you can space them out however suits you, a rest day or two in between, or even further apart. Tell us your preferred dates when you book and we will set it up.
What time does each day start?
You pick any start time between 7 and 9 AM, on both mornings. Most riders are back at their hotel by mid-afternoon each day.
How many people will be on the tour?
This is a private tour, so it's just your group on both days. Single-guide capacity is about 6 riders. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional guides. Message us to confirm.
Can kids join?
Children need to be at least 110 cm tall to ride their own e-bike. Because this is two full days on forest tracks, it isn't the right tour for very young children.
What if it rains?
The tour runs in the rain. Siem Reap rain usually comes in short afternoon bursts, the forest canopy covers most of the route, and we carry ponchos.
What languages can the guide speak?
English is the default. French, Spanish, Italian, and German are available on request, for a supplement to cover the specialist guide.
What's the cancellation policy?
14+ days before: full refund
Less than 14 days before: 50% refund
Less than 5 days before, or no-show: no refund

I grew up inside the walls of Angkor Wat, in the pagoda where my grandfather, Loung Sake, served as Grand Abbot. The pagoda still stands today, just inside the enclosure.
Girls weren't allowed to sleep in the monastery, so I shaved my head and dressed as a boy to stay close to him. He taught me Sanskrit on palm leaves.
