5-Day Angkor & Siem Reap Signature Tour

Every side of Angkor and Siem Reap, over five days.

Five private days across the temples, the countryside, the great lake and the city after dark, travelled however you like. Sunrise at Angkor Wat by Vespa or e-bike. The carved pink temple of Banteay Srei and a slow Jeep day through the villages. The quiet ruins of the Grand Circuit. A private boat into the stilted villages of the Tonlé Sap at sunset. And two evenings that have nothing to do with temples: the Phare circus, and Siem Reap's street food.

Why book the five-day signature

The whole of Angkor and Siem Reap, your way

  • Travel it your way. Sunrise by Vespa or e-bike, the far temples and the lake by Jeep, the Grand Circuit and the countryside however you like. You pick the vehicle on the open days.
  • More than temples. The Phare circus one evening, Siem Reap's street food another, and a private boat into the floating villages of the Tonlé Sap at sunset.
  • Five unhurried days. A free afternoon on day one, time to recharge before the food tour, a late start on the lake day. Breakfast and four Khmer lunches are included.
  • Private the whole way. Just your group, a local Cambodian guide, and hotel pickup every single day.

On Day 1
  • Angkor Wat sunrise
  • Bayon
  • Ta Prohm

This is your private tour. Your guide reads your pace and shapes the morning around you, longer at the temples that move you, a shorter stop at the ones that don't.

A Jeep day out to the finest carving at Angkor, then back slowly through the countryside with a Khmer lunch.

  • Start 7-9 AM
  • Khmer lunch
  • Hotel pickup
  • Free afternoon
Morning · Out to Banteay Srei

Midday · Villages and a Khmer lunch
~11 AMBack through the countryside: incense-stick making, a village pagoda, and a remote village few visitors reach.

On Day 2
  • Banteay Srei
  • Incense village

Day 3 · Grand Circuit · Your choice

The quiet Grand Circuit, then street food after dark

The Grand Circuit's forest temples by your choice of vehicle, then Siem Reap's street food in the evening.

  • Start 7-9 AM
  • Khmer lunch + street food
  • Your choice of vehicle
  • Evening food tour
Morning · The Grand Circuit

Midday · Lunch, then recharge
~1 PMA sit-down Khmer lunch, then the afternoon to rest before the evening.
Evening · After Dark Food Tour
6-10 PMCollected at 6 PM, by Jeep or Vespa, for Siem Reap's street food: vendors and hidden spots your guide knows, with the stories behind the dishes. Back around 10 PM.
On Day 3
  • Preah Khan
  • Neak Pean
  • Ta Som
  • Krol Ko
  • After Dark Food Tour

This is your private tour. Your guide reads your pace at the temples, and the evening food tour is run by Jeep or Vespa.

Day 4 · Tonlé Sap Sunset · Jeep & boat

Sunset on the great lake, from a boat of your own

A late-afternoon Jeep run to the Tonlé Sap, a private boat through a stilted village, and sunset on the water.

  • Start 3 PM
  • Drinks & snacks
  • Private boat
  • Finish ~7 PM
Afternoon · Out to the lake
3 PMA Jeep run out to the Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and onto your own private boat.
Evening · A floating village at sunset
~5 PMThrough the stilted houses of a fishing village as the boats come in, then sunset on the open water with drinks and snacks.
~7 PMBack at your hotel.
On Day 4
  • Tonlé Sap lake
  • Stilted village
  • Sunset boat

A short, late day, the only one that starts in the afternoon. Days 4 and 5 are outside the park, so no Angkor Pass is needed for them.

Day 5 · Countryside Morning · Your choice

One more countryside morning, then home

Villages, palm-sugar making, a pagoda, the market and a farm lunch, by your choice of vehicle.

  • Start 7-9 AM
  • Farm lunch
  • Your choice of vehicle
  • Free afternoon
Morning · Into the countryside
7-9 AMPickup by Jeep, Vespa or e-bike, your choice. Quiet lanes to the villages, palm-sugar making, and time with the families who do it.
Midday · A pagoda, the market, a farm lunch
~11 AMA village pagoda and the local market, then a Khmer lunch at a private farm out in the rice fields.
Afternoon · Free
~1 PMBack at your hotel, the afternoon yours, and the trip done.

The signature difference

More than a temple tour

A temple most skip

Banteay Srei, not left off

The finest carving at Angkor, cut in pink sandstone an hour out of town. Short tours skip it for being far. This one goes, with time to take it in.

The route

Temples without doubling back

Every day is built to move forward, in by one gate and out by another. You never re-ride the same road or queue twice at the same door.

Your guide

A Grade-A licensed guide

A top-licensed Cambodian guide who knows the carvings, the history and the stories you would never find on your own.

Cambodian life

The country, not just the ruins

Countryside villages and a farm lunch, sunset on the great lake, the Phare circus and the city's street food. Five days about Cambodia, not only its temples.

Visited Angkor for the first time on electric mountain bikes! Went to hidden spots and saw amazing temples you wouldn’t find by van, car or tuktuk. A bike tour through the jungle to witness the least popular but incredibly unique temples, with several stops to enjoy coconut and spot some wild animals along the way, what more can you ask for? Highly recommend!

When most people think about visiting Angkor, they imagine crowds and busy temple entrances. But experiencing Angkor on a bike completely changes the story. An Angkor bike tour takes you beyond the main roads and into quiet jungle trails, hidden paths, and peaceful corners that many visitors never get to see — creating a far more personal and authentic connection with this incredible destination. PLENTY OF Instagrammable picture perfect spots For those who prefer comfort without losing the spirit of adventure, an Angkor e-bike tour is the perfect balance. Effortless riding, premium experience, and the freedom to explore deeper into the temples make it ideal for travelers who want something truly special rather than a standard tour. What truly makes the difference, however, is the people behind the experience. With Akim guiding the journey, every detail was seamless — from timing and route selection to local insights and storytelling. The entire day felt exclusive, well-curated, and genuinely memorable. If you’re looking for more than just sightseeing — and want to experience Angkor in a unique, immersive, and comfortable way — this is absolutely the way to do it.

FAQ

Ask on WhatsApp
What vehicle do we use each day?

Day 1 (sunrise) is by Vespa or e-bike, your pick. Days 2 and 4 are by Jeep, the far temple and the lake suit it best. On Day 3 (Grand Circuit) and Day 5 (countryside) you choose: Jeep, Vespa or e-bike. The evening food tour on Day 3 runs by Jeep or Vespa.

Do I need to be fit?

No. Most of the trip is travelled as a passenger or by gentle pedal-assist e-bike, with short walks at the temples. If you choose the e-bike on any day, the assist does the climbing for you.

Which Angkor Pass do I need?

A 3-day pass ($62) covers the three temple days, Days 1 to 3 (Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei, Grand Circuit). It is valid for any 3 days within a 10-day window, so it works even if the days are not back-to-back. Days 4 and 5 (the lake and the countryside) are outside the park and need no pass. We recommend buying online at angkorenterprise.gov.kh. The pass is not included in the tour price.

What time does each day start?

Day 1 is a 4:45 AM sunrise start, with the Phare circus around 7:15 PM. Days 2, 3 and 5 you pick a start between 7 and 9 AM; Day 3 also has the food tour from 6 to 10 PM. Day 4 is a late one, starting at 3 PM for the lake and sunset.

Can I space the five days out?

Yes. Most guests run the days back-to-back, but you can spread them however suits you. Tell us your preferred dates when you book and we will arrange it.

How many people will be on the tour?

This is a private tour, so it's just your group on every day. Larger groups can be accommodated, message us to confirm.

Can kids join?

Yes, children are welcome. Ages 4-12 get 30% off and under-4s are free. On the Jeep and Vespa they ride as passengers; to ride their own e-bike a child needs to be at least 110 cm tall.

What if it rains?

The tour runs in the rain. Siem Reap rain usually comes in short afternoon bursts, and we carry ponchos.

What languages can the guide speak?

English is the default. French, Spanish, Italian, and German are available on request, for a supplement to cover the specialist guide.

What's the cancellation policy?
  • 14+ days before: full refund
  • Less than 14 days before: 50% refund
  • Less than 5 days before, or no-show: no refund
Behind Adventures Cambodia

Akim Ly

Akim Ly, founder of Adventures Cambodia, by the Angkor Wat moat

I grew up inside the walls of Angkor Wat, in the pagoda where my grandfather, Loung Sake, served as Grand Abbot. The pagoda still stands today, just inside the enclosure.

Girls weren't allowed to sleep in the monastery, so I shaved my head and dressed as a boy to stay close to him. He taught me Sanskrit on palm leaves.

Adventures Cambodia started in 2013. Every tour is private and led by a local.
